Why are the Google index numbers locked?
We never estimate indexation. The precise 'X of Y pages indexed' and 'last Googlebot crawl' come from Google's URL Inspection API, and that needs your verified Search Console property connected. Until it is, those rows stay locked rather than showing you a guess.
Is the scan free?
